Well done to everyone that tried 隠れん語 in May! We had a lot of great entries and many interesting sentences from all of you!

 

The theme for May was gardening!

テーマは「ガーデニング」でした！

是非、ガーデニングの話題の時は使ってください！

 

These are the words we had hidden in May:

Gardening（ガーデニング）

Compost（堆肥）

Dirt/Soil/Earth（土）

Hedge Clippers（刈り込みバサミ）

To sit in the shade of a tree（木陰に座る）

To do the weeding（雑草抜きをする）

To trim the tree（木を整える・剪定）

To water the plants（水やりをする）

A cool breeze（涼しいそよ風）

 

「剪定」より"trim the tree"の方が簡単ですね。"compost"は、海外のご家庭では普通に行われているようです。ちなみにコナー先生もされてます。どんなものかわからない方は、ぜひ先生に聞いてみてください！
